Area IV YR Classic 3-Day Scholarship
The Area IV Young Rider Classic 3-Day Scholarship was developed in 2022 through the efforts of the Area IV Young Rider Youth Council with the purpose of providing the educational and competitive opportunity to attend a Classic 3-Day event in the United States.
One Area IV Young Rider Classic 3-Day Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded annually. Scholarship recipients are required to submit an article USEA Area IV Young Riders detailing their experience within 3 months of completion of the event. The Area IV Young Rider Classic 3-Day Scholarship recipient will be informed by May 31, 2024. The scholarship will be distributed upon completion of the event and submission of required article detailing his/her experience.
Area IV YR Eventing Coaches Program Scholarship
The $1,500 Area IV Young Rider Eventing Coaches Scholarship was established by the Area IV Young Rider Program in 2023 and is offered to a USEA Area IV Young Rider member who meets the qualification standards and is selected as a recipient. These qualification standards include service to the sport, potential to provide future benefit of the sport, demonstration of compatibility with the education goals of ECP and intention to be assessed for ECP certification. The scholarship was established in an effort to further the quality of eventing instruction available within USEA Area IV. Applicants must be a current resident of USEA Area IV and demonstrate ties to the region with an intent to continue to remain within Area IV as an instructor.
