Sportsmanship is an important aspect of our sport. USEA Area IV Young Riders that strive for the qualities of true sportsmanship in all areas- consideration for fairness, ethics, and respect for team members or individuals- may be nominated to receive an award that recognizes their integrity and dedication to creating a sportsman-like atmosphere within eventing.
Area IV Young Rider Sportsmanship Award Recipients will be selected from the nominations received by the Area IV Young Rider Youth Council. The Youth Council will select one award recipient per award period each year. Sportsmanship Award recipients will be recognized on the Area IV Young Rider website and social media and presented with an Area IV YR Sportsmanship Award.
